Creation of Technology Infrastructures for Twin Transformation: Sustainability Reporting Platform project is being implemented under the twin transformation financial support program of the Istanbul Development Agency under the coordination of MESS Turkey Metal Industrialists' Union and in partnership with the Istanbul Chamber of Industry.
The project aims to create a sustainable digital interface and technology infrastructure for the industry in the green and digital transformation axis. The Sustainability Reporting Platform to be developed in this context will enable companies to manage their sustainability performance systematically, comparably and digitally.
Within the scope of the project to be implemented for a period of 12 months, roadmaps for digital transformation, development of innovative services and applications, analysis and feasibility studies and training activities for capacity development are envisaged. The project aims to make a tangible contribution to the twin transformation process of the industry through both direct beneficiary companies and cooperating institutions and organizations.
The project is a strategic step towards strengthening digital infrastructures in the field of sustainability reporting and increasing the green and digital transformation capacity of the industry.
Sustainability Reporting Mini MBA Online Training Program
As part of the GreenSync project, the installation of the Supply Chain Control Tower (SCCT), which provides end-to-end supply chain management of the currently manufactured gearbox at MEXT Technology Center Digital Factory, has been successfully completed.
The Supply Chain Control Tower is a management platform that supports data-driven decision mechanisms by monitoring procurement processes end-to-end. This system has been developed to enable more efficient management of production and logistics processes, optimize supply chain operations, and help companies achieve sustainability goals. Online from April 15 to May 6, 2026, Sustainability Reporting Mini MBA training program will be organized.
The training program, which aims to enable participants to understand the basic concepts of sustainability reporting, international standards and application principles from a holistic perspective, will be conducted 2 days on weekdays, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The training “Integration of Sustainability in Supply Chains” organized under the project “GreenSync Ecosystem: Connecting Manufacturing Ecosystem for a Sustainable Future “, funded by the Grant Program for Civil Society Action for a Sustainable Future” within the framework of the European Union Pre-Accession Assistance Instrument (IPA III), was successfully held at MEXT Technology Center on 19—20—21 November. During the three-day program, participants gained a comprehensive perspective on sustainability regulations, international indices, AI applications and digital solutions affecting supply chains. In addition, a practical experience was presented to the participants with case analysis carried out on the Supply Chain Control Tower located in MEXT Digital Factory within the scope of the project.

Sustainability Training for Human Resources Professionals
The project “Building Technology Infrastructures for Twin Transformation: Sustainability Reporting Platform”, supported under Istanbul Development Agency's Twin Transformation Financial Support Program, has been implemented. The platform will provide a technology infrastructure that will allow companies to manage their sustainability data in a systematic and structured way in a digital environment. Within the scope of the 12-month project, analysis and feasibility studies for digital transformation will be carried out, innovative services and applications will be developed and training activities aimed at capacity building will be carried out. The project aims to increase the industry's digital competencies in sustainability reporting and to make a tangible contribution to the twin transformation process.
Sustainability Reporting Platform
The Sustainability Reporting Platform is an AI-powered digital reporting infrastructure developed to contribute to the industry's green and digital transformation process. The main objective of the platform is to support companies to create their GRI compliant sustainability reports in a more systematic, consistent and digital structure.
Within the scope of the platform, companies' sustainability data is collected, analyzed and integrated into reporting processes through a single digital interface. Thanks to the AI-powered structure, it is intended to configure data inputs, ensure content integrity and support the reporting process. This approach aims to provide a standards-compliant, traceable and scalable reporting process rather than manual and cluttered methods.
The Sustainability Reporting Platform is a strategic tool that aims to strengthen the digital competencies of industry organizations in the field of sustainability reporting, streamline reporting processes with AI-powered solutions, and contribute to decision-making towards twin transformation goals.

Opening Event Held
We successfully held the opening event of our project “Building Technology Infrastructures for Twin Transformation: Sustainability Reporting Platform”, supported under the İstanbul Development Agency/İSTKA 2025 Twin Transformation Financial Support Program, on December 17, 2025.
The event began with the opening speeches of Efe Erdem, General Manager of MEXT Technology Center and Burcin Degirmencioglu, Deputy Secretary General of Istanbul Chamber of Industry, and continued with a speech by Prof. Dr. Guler Aras, Founder Chairman of Integrated Reporting Association Turkey (ERTA). Subsequent panel sessions addressed the role of reporting in sustainability-driven transformation and new era reporting approaches, while sustainability reporting is a strategic lever in the industry's twin transformation journey.
We will continue to contribute to the green and digital transformation of our industry with digital infrastructures to be developed within the scope of our project.
Applied Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability Reporting Training in Standard and Pilot Reporting Support Open Call
Istanbul Development Agency supported by and MESS Turkish Metal Industrialists Union Coordinated and Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) Conducted in partnership”Sustainability Reporting PlatformWithin the scope of the project, a practical training and consulting program is being implemented to improve the sustainability reporting capacities of industrial companies. Companies to be selected as part of the program are both theoretical in creating a sustainability strategy, structuring QIS data management processes and preparing sustainability reports in line with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards It will also receive practical support. Trainings, workshops and the use of digital tools are offered through a learning process that progresses through the companies' own data.
In addition, for the 5 pilot companies to be selected at the end of the program, it is aimed to achieve concrete reporting results by providing one-on-one consulting support through the developed sustainability reporting platform.
