What is the COSIRI Methodology for Green Transformation?
COSIRI (Consumer Sustainability ReadinessIndex) is a sustainability transformation methodology developed by the International Center for Industrial Transformation (INCIT) and supported by the World Economic Forum (WEF). As the first of its kind, COSIRI helps manufacturers initiate, scale, and sustain their sustainability transformation journeys, regardless of sector or company size.
COSIRI assesses companies’ sustainability maturity across four categories: strategy & risk management, sustainable business processes, technology &organization, and governance.
Through this evaluation, the company’s current status, carbon emissions distribution, prioritized business goals for sustainability transformation, and benchmark inputs from the sector are identified. Prioritized action areas are presented as a roadmap using MEXT’s expertise.
